What is a Cloudbuster?

In the orgonite-making community, a Don Croft-style Cloudbuster is a handmade assembly of upright copper tubes supported by a resin composite base. Makers use different dimensions, materials and decorative finishes.

The photographs here show one garden installation and a close-up of its finished base. They show physical construction, not its internal contents or evidence of an effect.

Claims about orgone energy or changing weather are community beliefs, not established science. No weather-control, pollution-removal or health benefits are established.

Materials & making: what to include in a build guide

Help other makers understand your process with a clear record:

  1. List the resin, metals, quartz, tube sizes and spacer materials actually used.
  2. Photograph the parts before assembly and record dimensions.
  3. Document the tube spacing, base preparation and assembly sequence.
  4. Record the resin manufacturer's mixing and curing instructions you followed.
  5. Show the finished structure, stable support and any lessons learned.

These are documentation prompts, not a universal construction specification. We welcome guides for pyramids, plates and other handmade projects as well.

Observation logs: share results with context

Record dates, approximate location, weather conditions, camera position and the timing of each photo. Describe any measurement equipment, comparison periods and other possible explanations. Please do not share your precise home address.

Separate what you observed from what you think caused it. Changing clouds or aircraft trails alone cannot establish an effect from a device. Include no-change observations and contradictory findings.

Materials & workshop safety

Follow the resin manufacturer's safety data sheet, ventilation, protective equipment, mixing and curing requirements. Use suitable eye protection and gloves for the task; cut metal can have sharp edges.

Keep uncured resin away from children, pets, food and drains. Support tall tube assemblies securely and keep them clear of overhead electrical lines. Share practical problems and lessons learned alongside your build.
